Is it possible to buy UGEARS designers in bulk?

What if I forgot my password? What do I do?
Upon login, click on the “Lost your password” link and then enter your username or email. You will be sent a verification to your email to confirm that you lost and want to change your password. Upon clicking the link, you will then be re-directed back to the website and asked for a new password. You can use this on your next login.
Can I share my Wishlist?
Yes you can! We have an option for you to share it on WhatsAPP, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so that your family, friends and colleagues would be able to give you the gift that you’ve always dreamed of!
What is a Wishlist?
A Wish list is our way of helping you bookmark your favourite products. Just click on the star icon and we will save all your favourite items for later viewing.
I have not received a confirmation e-mail/carrier/tracking number, what to do?
First thing you can do is check your e-mail. When an order is made, you will be receiving an order confirmation from us via email. You might also want to check your spam/junk mail, just in case. If you do not see an email from us on your inbox or spam mail, most likely the order was not made. If there is still no e-mail, but you would want to make sure, you may contact us to double check the status of your order by sending us an email at  ugearsinfo@ugearsmodels.in
My payment having been refused, how can I order?
We offer various means of payment, if the means of payment chosen is not suitable, we invite you to select another. We remind you that our means of payment do not require account creation.
My model worked very well until recently, where can the problem ?
Our models are made of wood, so it can sometimes happen that they take moisture. Laying the model on a heater for 24 hours will solve this problem.
What tools do I need to assemble a model?
Each set is supplied with everything necessary for assembly, according to each model’s specific requirements.  In some instances, you may choose to use additional tools and substances, such as a small sharp knife or a box opener, household candle and sand paper.
How can I make a request for replacement parts
You will work with a natural material that is nice to the touch. The high quality plywood is sufficiently durable, although sometimes you may need a few spare parts. We completed each kits with spare parts, but in case, you need extra ones, please, feel free to contact us at customerservice@ugearsmodels.com. We would ask you to provide us with your postal address, the list of the required parts and the photos of the corresponding board or detail. The Ugears team will send the requested spare parts to the address provided in your e-mail free of charge in an envelope by post. So you can complete your model.
Is it possible to paint the model?
Yes, you can paint it. We recommend using watercolour, gouache or mordant types of paint. You can use acrylic paints as well, however, the density may prevent gears from moving freely.
What is the best way to assemble the models?
To safely release a part from the board and avoid any potential damage to it, gently press your fingers about the indicated lines. For the best assembly results and to ensure the correct fit we recommend checking each detail for flaws and removing imperfections using the finest grit sandpaper. If connecting of certain parts appears difficult, try using household wax candle to lubricate the parts.
Do I need to cut the parts out of the boards?
No. All the parts are pre-cut and can be easily taken out of a board by pressing lightly with your fingers. The parts stay in place on a board, connected by small cross pieces. If you experience difficulties removing a part of the board, simply use a cardboard box opener to detach it.
What material are the models made of?
All the models are made of ecological plywood.
What can be done to install a plug on the frame or axle.
Use candle wax from any household candle to grease parts of the plug or the axle. If you are unable to install the axle, we recommend that you disassemble the structure and grease the internal parts of the gear with candle wax.
Can children who are younger than the manufacturer specified age build the models?
The instructions are clear, but you need to apply the correct force not to break the pieces. If parents supervise the process or work together with their child, it is possible.
What age group of children are the models recommended for?
Most models are suitable for children 14 years old and older. For certain models, your child may need additional parental assistance. Our mission is to unite children and their parents, while having good old-fashioned fun working with your hands and using your imagination.
Can the code of the ‘Safe’ model be changed?
The code is set up during the assembly. The instruction provides you with three sample codes or you can set one up of your own choice. Once set and fully assembled, the code cannot be changed.
What does the ‘Dynamometer’ model do?
You blow on or spin the top gear and watch the other gears spin round. It is basically an educational model that demonstrates how gears work. It is fun to put together and showcase to your friends and family.
How can an axle be replaced if one breaks down?
The axles are standard round toothpicks. If one breaks during the assembly or exploitation process, just replace it with a new one.
